Temi di Ricerca

My work focuses on molecular and cellular analyses in the context of various non-communicable diseases related to oncology. Specifically, I conduct epigenetic studies to identify miRNAs as potential disease biomarkers, with applications in disease characterization, diagnosis, and prognosis.

The goal is to identify reliable biomarkers in biological fluids to develop and propose non-invasive diagnostic approaches. Additionally, I have also studied in vitro cellular models to identify and validate the functional targets of our hypotheses, contributing to a deeper understanding of the underlying molecular mechanisms. Furthermore, I utilize both in vitro and in vivo disease models to explore and propose novel therapeutic strategies.
