Temi di Ricerca
My work focuses on molecular and cellular analyses in the context of various non-communicable diseases related to oncology. Specifically, I conduct epigenetic studies to identify miRNAs as potential disease biomarkers, with applications in disease characterization, diagnosis, and prognosis. Â
The goal is to identify reliable biomarkers in biological fluids to develop and propose non-invasive diagnostic approaches. Additionally, I have also studied in vitro cellular models to identify and validate the functional targets of our hypotheses, contributing to a deeper understanding of the underlying molecular mechanisms. Furthermore, I utilize both in vitro and in vivo disease models to explore and propose novel therapeutic strategies.Â
